Adult Basic Education and Training (ABET) Level 1 - 4; Equivalent to GETC grade 1 to 9;
Registration starts Mid January (in accordance with the school calendar) and it normally closes end of First term.

Old Matric (NAT 550=NQF Level 4) is available until 2014;

Exams written : May/June 2012 at the Florida Park High School, Petunia St, Florida Park

NCS/NSC (new matric)

Students who are upgrading their symbols/results;
NASCA (National Senior Certificate for Adults) is the new Adult Matric/Grade 12 being designed by UMALUSI which will consist of 4 subjects (only), but will still have the same (120) credits as the NCS in day Schools. This, in accordance to UMALUSI, will only become effective during 2013. This will be available to Adult learners. It is advisable that ABET level 4 is completed prior to the completion of this senior certificate
