Cecilia Ndimande finished her Matric with us (EQUIP SKILLS FOR LIVING) in 2008. Cecilia accompanied her friend and over heard a conversation about the computer course that EQUIP was offering. She asked if the two of them (herself and her friend) can enroll since they are in need of additional skills as they are job hunting. Very soon after that Cecilia finished her computer course and found employment as a cashier at the local Pick 'n Pay store. Her boss is very happy with Cecilia's pleasant nature and hard work. We at EQUIP SKILLS FOR LIVING remember her as a very pleasant, responsible, and hardworking student. Being in a big retail company Cecilia only have the sky as the limit.

Middle aged Teri Theunissen registered with us (EQUIP SKILLS FOR LIVING) in January 2008 and soon showed signs of being an excellent student and team player. At that time Teri was temping at ABSA and after she gained her Senior Certificate in May 2009, she was accepted as a permanent employee in the Outsourcing Debt Review Department. She came back to the Centre. She wasn't happy with some of her results and decided to upgrade her results in order to get an exemption for a university degree. As from February 2011 Teri will start studying part time towards a Psychology Degree, with the goal to specialize in Psychology for the hearing disabled. Currently Teri is involved in "DEAFSA" where she uses Sign Language, as a volunteer counsellor.
